This 100 m image shows part of the Chinese Taklamakan desert in the Barkol Lake region. Two mountain ranges, still covered with snow, show up in the middle and lower part of the image. In the lower right part, Lake Tuolekule is visible. However, the most striking features are the large man-made shapes that are visible in the upper part of the image.
