Israel Jordan, Dead Sea

The Dead Sea is a salt lake between Israel, Jordan, and Palestine. It is the Earth's lowest elevation on land, with the water surface being at 429 m below sea level. The Dead Sea owns its name to the harsh environments for animals to florish, due to the high salinity of 34% (about ten times saltier than ocean water). On the right of this 100 m image, the southern part of the Dead Sea, with evaporation pans used for potassium chloride extraction showing up, while further to the left agricultural areas with various sizes are visible.
