Zimbabwe, Mana Pools

Mana Pools is a wildlife conservation area in the northern part of Zimbabwe designated as UNESCO World Heritage Site. The area consists of lakes in the lower Zambezi region that recur each year after the wet season. The area contains Zimbabwe's largest concentration of hippopotamuses and crocodiles. The 100 m image of 29 October 2014 shows the Mana Pools region at the beginning of the wet season.
